Terms of Service

Welcome to theysay

By using theysay ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

Your Account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• One account per person . don't share accounts

Your Content

• You own your content. Quotes, names, and everything you enter into theysay remains yours
• You grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content solely to provide the theysay service (e.g., showing your quotes to your Family Circle members)
• You can delete your content at any time. When you delete it, we remove it from our servers
• Don't use theysay to share content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights

theysay+ Subscription

• theysay+ is a recurring subscription billed through Apple's App Store
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
• Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy

Family Circle

• When you invite someone to your Family Circle, they can view the quotes you share
• You control who is in your Family Circle and can remove members at any time
• Members you invite must also agree to these Terms

Acceptable Use

Don't:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems to access the App (bots, scrapers, etc.)
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise our systems

Service Availability

We strive to keep theysay running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance or updates. We'll try to give you notice when possible.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. If we terminate your account, we'll provide your data export where possible.

Limitation of Liability

theysay is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes, we'll notify you through the App or via email.
